Northeast Pama–Nyungan, or Pama–Maric, is a hypothetical family consisting of the neighboring Paman, Maric, Dyirbalic, Yidinyic, and Yalanjic branches of the Pama–Nyungan family of Australian languages.
* The Mayabic languages were traditionally classified as Paman, but are excluded from Northeast Pama–Nyungan.
Ngura was once lumped in with the Karnic branch of Pama–Nyungan. There is not enough data to classify it any confidence, and it may be Maric.
Geographically, the Lower Burdekin languages might be assumed to be NE Pama–Nyungan, and perhaps Paman. However, they are too poorly attested to classify.
