Subdivisions: Karna ?Ngura ?Palku ?The Karnic languages are a group of languages of the Pama–Nyungan family. According to Dixon (2002), these three groups are three separate branches. They are:
- Karna
- Diyari, Dirari, Ngamini, Pirlatapa, Yandruwandha, Yawarawarga
- Ngura
- Wangkumara, Galali, Bundhamara, Badjiri, Bidjara, Dhiraila, Garandala, Mambangura, Mingbari, Ngurawarla, Yarumarra
- Palku
- Arabana, Pitta Pitta, Wanggamala, Wangganguru
The Ngura languages (which share a single ISO 369-3 code) may belong in the Maric family.
