North Lungpher is a village. As of the 2011 India census, North Lungpher had a population of 899. Males constitute 57% of the population and females 43%. North Lungpher has an average literacy rate of 83%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 84%, and female literacy is 82%. In North Lungpher, 22% of the population is under 6 years of age. North Lungpher is located in the district of Aizawl, Mizoram.

North Lungpher is located below the 6th highest mountain (in height/above sea level) named Chalfilh Tlang in Mizoram. North Lungpher is founded by Sailo king named Lalzika and his friends in 1911, they separated from BUHBAN Village which is 9 kilometers away from North Lungpher, North Lungpher is now more populated than their original village BUHBAN.

North Lungpher currently had three CHURCH of different Christian Churches, UPC N.E.I, UPC Mizoram and Presbyterian. Presbyterian consists 57% of the total population, while UPC N.E.I had 35% and UPC of Mizoram constitute 8%.

North Lungpher had one Village Council Court and currently the President is K.Rammawia, and the most popular association in the state (Mizoram) that is YMA (Young Mizo Association) is form in 1946, Now the President name is K.Lalhmuchhuaka.
