Song information

In 1985 Amanda Lear signed with now defunct Merak Music and would release two singles through the label: "No Credit Card" and "Women". "No Credit Card" was an energetic dance track with synthpop arrangement, resembling Frankie Goes to Hollywood's musical style. It was written and arranged by Sangy, while production was credited to Roberto Gasparini. The recording session took place in Vicenza, Italy. "Jungle Beat" was released as the B-side, de facto an instrumental version of the title song. Both of them were non-album tracks. "No Credit Card" was heavily promoted on television, however, it failed to chart anywhere.

Music video

In the song's music video Amanda is dressed as an aborigine, with her tribal outfit resembling Tina Turner's look from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. The clip pictures the singer dancing in a steppe, walking through the jungle as well as city streets.
