The Sphinx - Das Beste Aus Den Jahren 1976-1983 is a three disc box set by French singer Amanda Lear released in Germany in 2006.
"The Sphinx" comprises the best from Lear's six albums on label Ariola-Eurodisc; "I Am A Photograph" (1977), "Sweet Revenge" (1978), "Never Trust A Pretty Face" (1979), "Diamonds For Breakfast" (1980), "Incognito" (1981) and "Tam-Tam" (1983), as well as non-album singles "Solomon Gundie" (1980), "Fever" (1982), "Incredibilmente Donna" (1982) and double A-side "Love Your Body" / "Darkness And Light" (1983).

Five of the six original Ariola albums remain unreleased in their entirety on compact disc.
