"Amanda Lear Sings Evergreens" is a compilation by French singer Amanda Lear, released in Germany in December 2005 by label Dance Street (a sub-label of Siebenpunkts Verlags Gmbh/ZYX Music/Mint Records). With the exception of "Dreamer (South Pacific)" from album "Never Trust A Pretty Face", "Amanda Lear Sings Evergreens" contains cover versions recorded between 1977 and 1998, adding 2005's single "Copacabana" and the re-recorded duet version of "I'll Miss You" with German-Spanish singer Manuel Sanchez from his album "Ambitious" (ZYX Music).
This compilation was issued shortly before 2006's studio album "With Love" - the latter does "not" have a misleading title, it "does" include evergreens and jazz standards, all tracks "do" run their full length and all its tracks "are" transferred from the master tapes and its release "was" authorised by Amanda Lear.
