Nine Mile, Fort Wayne

Nine Mile is an industrial area in the central southwest side of Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States near the Fort Wayne International Airport. Originally a rural unincorporated town, the settlement gave way to industrial development surrounding the airport in the 1970s. It was eventually incorporated inside the Fort Wayne city limts on September 9, 1985 as part of Fort Wayne's Ferguson Road Annexation.
