United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 0.9square mile s (2.4km² ), all of it land.Woodburn is located adjacent to
U.S. Route 24 . In 1989, a group of Indiana and Ohio residents met in Woodburn to form the "Fort to Port Improvement Organization" to lobby for expansion of the highway betweenFort Wayne, Indiana andToledo, Ohio . The meeting was organized by State RepresentativeMitch Harper .Demographics
