Nina Arianda (born c. 1984 as Nina Arianda Matijcio[1] in Manhattan[2]) is an American theatre and film actress.

Early life and education
Arianda grew up in Clifton, New Jersey and Heidelberg, Germany.[2] She received an Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University in 2009.[3]
Career
Arianda has appeared in various theatrical productions including as Vanda in the comedy-drama play Venus in Fur off-Broadway in 2010. The play transferred to Broadway, the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, in early November, 2011, and she received dazzling reviews.[4][5][6][7]
She has appeared in several films, including Win Win (2011).[8]
Arianda made her Broadway debut in the lead role of Billie Dawn in the Broadway production of Born Yesterday, with James Belushi and Robert Sean Leonard, starting in April 2011.
She plays Carol Bates in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris.
Awards and nominations
For her appearance in Venus in Fur, Arianda received a 2010 Theatre World Award and a 2010 Clarence Derwent Award.[9] For that role, she also received nominations for a 2010 Lucille Lortel Award for "Outstanding Lead Actress" and a 2010 Outer Critics Circle Award for "Outstanding Actress in a Play".[9]
For her performance in Born Yesterday, Arianda has been nominated for a Drama League, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, and Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Play.[10] She won (in a tie) the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play.[11]
