Nimbin is a chemical compound classified as a triterpenoid isolated from Azadirachta indica (neem tree). Nimbin is thought to be responsible for much of the biological activities of neem, and is reported to have anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antifungal, antihistamine and antiseptic properties.[2]
