Nigel Carrington is the former Managing Director of the McLaren Group and was previously an international lawyer with Baker & McKenzie. Carrington was appointed as the Rector of the University of the Arts London, succeeding Sir Michael Bichard in 2008.[1]
Carrington currently holds senior positions in the public, private and charitable sectors that include: Chairman of The English Concert; Trustee of Independent Opera; Non-Executive Director of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Hornby Plc.
Carrington read Law at St John's College, Oxford and he recently completed a Graduate Diploma in the History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art.
