(Boulenger, 1882)Nectocaecilia petersii is a species of amphibian in the Caeciliidae family. It belongs to the monotypic genus Nectocaecilia.[citation needed] This species is found in Venezuela, possibly Brazil, and possibly Colombia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and rivers and it is threatened by habitat loss.
