Founded in 2005, the league played their fifth season in 2010. The Naptown Roller Girls are a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).[2] The home bouts of the Naptown Roller Girls are held in the Pepsi Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

The league is composed of three home teams: The Tornado Sirens (is the A-Team), The Warning Belles (is the B-team) and The 3rd Alarm (is the C-team).[3]
