Nangegadda is a small costal village in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located on the banks of Krishna River.
The population is about 5,000. Agriculture and aquaculture are the primary occupations.

Geography
It is the small and beautiful village located in Nagayalanka Mandal of Krishna district. In 1970's Nangegadda is divided as per politicai inconsistancy into two villages namely Nangegadda & vakkapatlavari palem and it is now surrounded by villages:
- Bhavadevarapalli
- Marripalem
- Vakkpatlavari palem
- Chodavaram.
The village is located at 2 kilometers towards East from Nagayalanka.
Repalle of guntur district located 20 kms far-away from this village.[1][2]

Temples
There are three famous temples namely,
Most powerful Goddess SRI VIRUGULAMMA Temple, she is consider to be the protector of the village. SIVALAYAM as per temple history, it is constructed by Rajaraja Narendra in 11th century((Telugu: రాజరాజ నరేంద్రుడు) (1019–1061 CE) was the Eastern Chalukya king of the Vengi kingdom in South India.
And Recently constructed SRI SHIRDI SAIBABA temple .[1]
Local Festival
'''Nangegadda''' is house of the local deity known as SRI VIRUGULAMMA.She is considered as powerful grama devatha for the residents of surrounding places. A big festival will be organised every year during the Pournami (Full moon day)of ['Vaisaakha Maasam(వైశాఖ మాస౦)'] month, in the name of goddess.People from local regions visit the temple for her blessings.This festival is one of the biggest people gathering events in the locality.
