Myanmar Standard Time (MST) (Burmese: မြန်မာ စံတော်ချိန်, [mjəmà sàɴdɔ̀dʑèiɴ]; formerly, Burma Standard Time) is the standard time in Myanmar (Burma), 6:30 hours ahead of UTC (UTC+06:30). MST is calculated on the basis of 97° 30' longitude.[1] MST is used all year round as Myanmar does not observe daylight saving time.
