History
- 1840: The first train services the station on the line Munich-Lochhausen.
- 29 November 1848: The station-building is opened.
- 21 May 1854: Opening of the line to Starnberg.
- 1900/1901: A Cargo terminal is constructed east of the station.
- 1 October 1938: After the uniting of the suburb Pasing with Munich the station is renamed to München-Pasing.
- May 1972: establishing of the S-Bahn network
- Since April 2008 the station is being extensively refurbished (apparently a very long and slow process) to provide long overdue barrier-free access to all main platforms and a new terminal connection with the Pasing northern bypass road (being built). At the same time numerous developments of the immediately surrounding area (shopping centers, office blocks, bus terminal) are thoroughly modernising this previously rather neglected quarter.[1][2]
