The Michigan Air–Line Railway (reporting mark MAL) is a shortline railroad in Oakland County, Michigan. It runs from West Bloomfield, Michigan to Wixom, Michigan, where it connects to CSX. The headquarters and station are in Walled Lake, Michigan. It is owned by Railmark Holdings, Inc.[1] The railroad ran its last dinner train on December 31, 2008.[2]

Plans have been made to sell the line to local communities for a rail trail,[3] to be named the West Bloomfield Trail.[4]

On November 12, 2009 Railmark announced that it was selling the railroad to Browner Turnout.[5]

On January 28, 2011, the railroad applied with federal officials to abandon its route from Wixom to the end of track near West Bloomfield.[6]
