It runs from West Bloomfield, Michigan to Wixom, Michigan, where it connects to CSX. The headquarters and station are in Walled Lake, Michigan. It is owned by Railmark Holdings, Inc.[1] The railroad ran its last dinner train on December 31, 2008.[2]
Plans have been made to sell the line to local communities for a rail trail,[3] to be named the West Bloomfield Trail.[4]
On November 12, 2009 Railmark announced that it was selling the railroad to Browner Turnout.[5]
On January 28, 2011, the railroad applied with federal officials to abandon its route from Wixom to the end of track near West Bloomfield.[6]
