SEMCOG Commuter Rail [SEMCOG stands for the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments.] is a proposed
regional rail link between the cities of Ann Arbor andDetroit, Michigan , slated to begin operation no earlier than 2008. Potential stops include the existing Ann Arbor and DetroitAmtrak stations, with new stations atDetroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport , Ypsilanti, and Dearborn.
