Michelle McKeehan (born November 9, 1989) is an American swimmer. She is a three-time medalist from the Pan American Games.

Personal

McKeehan was born in Beech Grove, Indiana in 1989, the daughter of Stu McKeehan and Amy Chase. McKeehan is a 2008 graduate of Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Indiana. In high school, she was an eight-time state champion in the 100-meter breaststroke and the 200-meter individual medley. She also broke the 100-meter breaststroke and 200-meter individual medley state records twice and broke the former 200-meter individual medley national record. She was named the 2008 Athlete of the Year for her high school and The Daily Journal. She was also recognized as the 2008 Suburban Athlete by The Indianapolis Star. She currently swims collegiately for the University of Georgia, where she is majoring in public relations and speech communications.

Swimming career

McKeehan competed in the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, where she won gold medals in the 100-meter breaststroke and 4x100-meter medley relay.[1]
