Virginia "Ginny" Duenkel (
March 7 ,1947 ) is an American swimmer who represented the United States at the1964 Summer Olympics inTokyo ,Japan . She medaled in two swimming events as a 17-year old, winning aGold medal in the 400 meter freestyle and aBronze medal in the 100 meter backstroke.Duenkel was an honoree of the
