The men's light heavyweight (81 kg/178.2 lbs) Thai-Boxing division at the W.A.K.O. European Championships 2004 in Budva was the fourth heaviest of the male Thai-Boxing tournaments and involved five fighters. Each of the matches was three rounds of two minutes each and were fought under Thai-Boxing rules.

As there were too few fighters for a tournament designed for eight, three of the men received byes through to the semi finals. The tournament winner was reigning W.M.C. (pro) world champion and future x3 K-1 regional champion Magomed Magomedov from Russia who defeated opponent Salvatore Abate from Italy by unanimous decision. Defeated semi finalists Aliaksandr Vlasuk from Belarus and Aleksandar Maric from host nation Serbia and Montenegro took bronze medals.[1]
