The University of Hawai'i Maui College (formerly Maui Community College) is a public, co-educational commuter college in Kahului, Hawaiʻi on the island of Maui. It is one of ten branches of the University of Hawaiʻi system anchored by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in Honolulu and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
In addition to its main campus in Kahului, UH-Maui College also runs four education centers within Maui County: Lahaina Education Center in Lahaina and Hāna Education Center in Hāna; Molokai Education Center on the island of Molokaʻi; and Lānai Education Center on the island of Lānaʻi.
The college offers a number of certificate and degree programs, including several four-year degree programs.[1]
In 2010, the University of Hawaii Board of Regents approved the name change from Maui Community College to the University of Hawaii Maui College.
