Leeward Community College is a public, co-educational commuter community college in Pearl City, Hawaiokinai on the island of Ookinaahu. The forty-nine acre main campus also houses the temporary campus of the University of Hawaiokinai-West Ookinaahu. It is one of ten branches of the University of Hawaiokinai system anchored by the University of Hawaiokinai at Mnoa in Honolulu and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. As a community college, Leeward's open admissions policy only requires that a student be 18 years or older or earned a U. S. high school diploma or a GED, General Education Development, certificate.

The campus boasts the sculptures "Among the Ruins" by Satoru Abe (born 1926) and "The Cat" by Eli Marozzi (1913-1999). In addition to its main campus in Pearl City, Leeward Community College also runs the Waiokinaanae Education Center in Waiokinaanae.
