Formerly known as Valenzuela National High School - Mapulang Lupa Annex, it was established in 2003 and gain its independent status in 2006 through House Bill #05107 filed by the late Congressman Antonio M. Serapio in the 13th Congress of the Philippines. The current school principal is Mr. Meliton P. Zurbano. The state run institution under the Department of Education aims to promote quality life through basic quality education.
