Formerly[when?] a contract songwriter and producer at Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, Manuel Seal, Jr. has co-written many hit songs including Usher's "You Make Me Wanna", "Nice and Slow", "My Way", Destiny's Child's "With Me", "My Boo"; and Mariah Carey's number one singles "Always Be My Baby" and "We Belong Together." Current winner of American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP) 23rd Annual Rhythm & Soul Awards Ceremony in Beverly Hills, CA June 25, 2010 for "Song of the Decade Award" Co-writer of Mariah Carey's, "We Belong Together".[1]
