Manoj Tiwari Born Atarwalia, Bihar, India[1] Occupation Actor, Singer,Director, Television presenter Years active 1983 – present Spouse Rani Tiwari Manoj Tiwari Mridul (Hindi: मनोज तिवारी मृदुल)[2][3][4] is a bhojpuri mega star, most popular bhojpuri singer,Television presenter and Director, hailing from Bihar,India who acts in Bhojpuri films.

Early life
Manoj Tiwari was born in Saryupareen Brahmins family in Atarwalia a small village in district Kaimur,Bihar, India.[1]
Career
In 2003, he decided to become an actor and took a role in the film Sasura Bada Paise Wala. Made on a budget of
3 million, the film went on to gross over
20 million.[5][6][7] Sasura Bada Paisa Wala also introduced Manoj Tiwari, formerly a well-loved folk singer, to the wider audiences of Bhojpuri cinema. Tiwari followed with the financially successful films Daroga Babu I Love You and Bandhan Toote Na.[8]
While it was reported that the Dutch government issued a 44 Euro cent stamp with Tiwari's image, the stamp was not an officially issued one,[1] just a personalized stamp that anyone can order online with personal images of choice.
Tiwari continues to record music and release new albums. He performs around the world in concert,[9] singing in a style that mixes traditional Bhojpuri folk songs with a more contemporary sound.
In 2010, Tiwari featured in the reality television show Bigg Boss (Season 4) as one of the contestant.[10]
Political career
Tiwari contested as Samajwadi Party candidate from Gorakhpur constituency for 15th Lok Sabha but lost to Adityanath Yogi.[11][12] He came a distant third with just 83,000 votes while the winner got more than 4 lakh votes.
