Maharishi Institute of Management ^[3] is a group of private institutes founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to provide the future managers of India with the latest principles, practices, and technologies of modern management from around the world.^[4] The institute has its campuses in Maharishi Nagar(NOIDA), Bhopal, Indore, Hyderabad, Bangaluru and Chennai, India.^[5] The Institute is accredited by different state universities & AICTE to offer Graduate and Post Graduate courses in Management & Computer.^[6] Maharishi Institute of Management ^[7] is a part of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's ^[8] global education movement. MIM is established under the auspices of Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan (MSS),^[9] a registered Society under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. MSS also administers Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools.

Accreditation and recognition

The Institute was established under the auspices of Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan, a Registered Society under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.^[10] The Institute is accredited by different state universities in their respective locations and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer Graduate and Post Graduate courses in Management and Computer Science.^[11] The MIM Indore campus offers BBA, BCA, MBA and MCA in affiliation to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya^[12] Jabalpur. The Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management ^[13] programme offered at MIM Maharishi Nagar Noida campus ^[14] is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. BBA, BCA, MBA and MCA offered at MIM Bhopal campus are affiliated to Barkatullah University Bhopal and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. BBA, BCA and B.Com courses offered at MIM Bangaluru ^[15] are affiliated to Bangalore University. BBA and MBA courses offered at MIM Chennai ^[16] are affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. ^[17]

Aim

The goal of Maharishi Institute of Management is to create problem-free management in India through management based on Natural Law, so that India can successfully meet the challenges of the globalized economy, maintain cultural integrity, and rise to leadership in the family of nations. The management training at M.I.M. accomplishes these goals by providing not only "career-oriented" education, but also "life-oriented" education through Maharishi's Consciousness-Based Education System. ^[18]

Student life

MIM ^[19] incorporates the principles and programmes of Maharishi's Consciousness-Based Education,^[20] including the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programme. Students also get in-depth exposure to Maharishi's Vedic Management ^[21] which is the key to perfect management. The only management training curriculum in the world which offers scientifically validated programmes to develop the full potential of the individual, M.I.M.'s Consciousness-Based Education is completely unique in management education today. The basis of this approach is the use of Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technology to develop the consciousness of every student. As students become more alert and awake, they naturally gain a more complete appreciation of every field of study. ^[22] MIM courses aim to be "job-oriented", "life-oriented" and "life-supporting".

The Institute has established a national coordinating office in New Delhi ^[23][24] and six fully equipped campuses supported by excellent infrastructure at : Bangaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, and Maharishi Nagar(Noida).^[25]
