Plot
The story begins when Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, Fuu Hououji was summoned by Princess Emeraude to save an alternate world called Cephiro. They met Guru Clef and asked them to become the Magic Knights to save Princess Emeraude from the High Priest of Cephiro, Zagato. But, before they become Magic Knights, they must first acquire weapons from the Master Smith Presea and acquire the three Mashins. For them to accomplish those task, they are given a bizarre creature named Mokona to guide them on their journey. Before they could reach Zagato and Emeraude, they first have to fight the minions of Zagato. When the girls finally reach Emeraude, they learn that she had fallen in love with Zagato, hindering her ability to pray solely for Cephiro's well-being, and had summoned the Magic Knights to kill her since no one on Cephiro could harm the Pillar.
