Lake Gori Location East Azarbaijan Province Coordinates 37°49′59.9″N 46°40′00″E / 37.833306°N 46.6666667°ECoordinates: 37°49′59.9″N 46°40′00″E / 37.833306°N 46.6666667°E Basin countries Iran Lake Gori (also Lake Ghouri) is a small fresh to brackish lake in the uplands of East Azarbaijan Province in northwestern Iran. Together with the adjacent reed marshes it is an important breeding area for waterfowl. A 1.2 km² site was designated as a Ramsar Convention wetland protection site on 23 June 1975.
