Contents
Sources
Lacceroic acid can be derived by sapon. of lacceryl lacceroate, or oxidation of laccerol and purification of the product by certain methods.[1]
Derivatives
Ethyl lacceroate can be obtained by the action of HCl gas on lacceroic acid in boiling abs. alc., rhombic plates, m. 76°.[1]
