History
After forming in early 2002, The Devilrock Four quickly started playing the local pubs in Melbourne. In 2004 they released their first home made self-titled EP. They were voted most outstanding band at the Duke of Windsor Hotel and band of the year at The Green Room.[2] Premier Artists signed them to their agency[3] and Shock Records distributed their second EP, Livin' This Low. The band was signed to Zatzit Records in 2006. In mid 2006 they entered Melbourne's famous recording studio Sing Sing to record their debut full length album[4] First in Line with engineer Matt Voigt (Kiss with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra).
In 2008 "Don't Throw It Away" was used in advertising for Channel 10's coverage of the Australian Football League. Other television spots include Channel 9's Canal Road, Channel 10's Big Brother and Guerrilla Gardeners.
