Season 2The first season of That's So Raven aired on Disney Channel from January 17, 2003 to September 12, 2003. The season introduces the Baxter family, Raven (Raven-Symoné), Cory (Kyle Massey), Tanya Baxter (T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh) and Victor Baxter (Rondell Sheridan) as they manage with Raven and her ability to see into the future. Orlando Brown and Anneliese van der Pol co-stars as Raven's best friends, Eddie Thomas and Chelsea Daniels.
Guest stars for this season included: Kirsten Storms, Brenda Song, Mike Erwin, Steven Anthony Lawrence, Niecy Nash and Jenifer Lewis.

Production
The original name for the main character was Dawn Baxter, and the show was originally named 'The Future Is on Me'. However, they changed the main character's name to Rose Baxter, and the show was called 'Absolutely Psychic'. Eventually, the show was finally called 'That's So Raven.'[2] In a 2007 interview, Anneliese van der Pol stated that Chelsea's original name was Emma. Also, that the roles of Raven and Chelsea were switched, so that Chelsea was the psychic. The series filmed it's pilot episode in July 2001 and was picked up in August. This season was filmed November 2001-Summer 2002 and aired in Disney Channel UK in September 2002.The show then premiered on Disney Channel January 17, 2003.
- Note: If you look closely to the end credits of the first season they are copywriten for 2002 the planned year for its debut. The show is set in San Francisco, with Raven going to Bayside High School, the name of the high school was also the main setting of the fellow teen sitcom Saved by the Bell.
Premise
The show is set in San Francisco and revolves around a teenager named Raven Baxter, played by Raven-Symoné, and how she gets herself, her friends Eddie and Chelsea, and her family members, such as her brother Cory, out of various situations, usually by using her psychic powers and a variety of disguises.
Tagline: She can see the future. But she can't quite see what's coming next.
