“Teacher's Pet” is the 98th episode of the Disney Channel television series, "That's So Raven". It was written by Sean McNamara and directed by Rondell Sheridan, who also portrays Victor Baxter in the series. It is the twentieth episode of the show’s fourth and final season and it aired on January 15, 2007 in the United States.

Plot

In this episode, Raven and her classmates get a new hip teacher, Courtney who helps them have fun in history.When the teacher tells them they have to study for a test and everyone groans she tells them to have a study party.Raven likes this idea and invites everyone to her house.Instead of studying they just partied.The next day the kids get upset and Raven promises that she'll get the teacher to postpone it.Raven askes the teacher and the teacher disagrees.Later on the teacher postpones the test. Raven doesn't know this a disguises herself as a bug exterminator and has a fake spider. The teacher gets terrified and jumps out the window. Because of this the teacher is fired. But Raven gets her rehired when the principal takes over and Raven scares him with a real spider.

Trivia

*Cory's friends told him they signed a lifetime contract, but when Cory moved to Washington DC, the contract was broken.
*When the girl is singing for the band, if you look in the back where Cory is playing the drums, you'll notice that he is not even hitting the drum set.
*You can see the spider's shadow on Raven's head before it is lowered onto her.
*When Raven is saying "I do not wanna be late for history class again," you can barely see Candace Cameron (Courtney) leaning on the adjacent wall from Raven's locker, waiting for her cue.

Allusions

*This episode is extremely similar to the Bearnstein Bears episode in which the school bully has an unexpectedly good voice and sings the exact same song that Cory's bully, The Juicer, sings.
*Candace Cameron of the sitcom Full House guest stars as the character Courtney in this episode. Coincidentally, the executive producers of That's So Raven worked on Full House.
*Christy Carlson Romano sings a song with the title "Teacher's Pet".
*In this episode, Courtney (Candace Cameron) is the teacher. She tells the students to take out their #2 pencils. Chelsea (Anneliese Van Der Pol) asks if a #4 is acceptable. This is an allusion to when Candace Cameron (who plays D.J. Tanner in Full House) has a bad dream about her S.A.T.'s. They use #4's.
