He played for the Detroit Wolverines, Providence Grays, New York Gothams, and the New York Metropolitans. He was born in New York City, and died at the age of 81 in Ozone Park, New York. Troy was interred at the Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Queens, New York.[1]
