Dasheri

Dasheri is a variety of mango grown in different parts of the North India and Pakistan.

In 18th century, the Dasheri mango first appeared in the gardens of Nawab of Lucknow. Since then numbers of Dasheri plants have been produced and planted throughout India.

People from village Dasheri near Malihabad, Uttar Pradesh believes that they have the mother plant of Dasheri mango which gave this variety of mango same name.

the tree of mango Dasehri is in village Dasehri where tree situated but abut 120 year ago Abdul Hameed Khan Qandhari Hotaki Zamindaar of habibpur and Khalispur founded it and brought the buds of tree and grafted the plant and after that planted the garden of Dasehri. the oldest garden of Dasehri is situated in Malihabad called Bara Bagh of Khalid Yusuf Khan.
