DYRK, broadcasting as 96.3 WRocK Cebu, is a music FM radio station owned by ACWS - United Broadcasting Network (also operating under the trade name WRocK Entertainment) in the Philippines. The station's studio is located at 20th Floor of Golden Peak Hotel and Suites, Gorordo Ave., cor. Escario St., Cebu City, while its transmitter is located at Mt. Busay, Babag 1, Cebu City. The main format of the station is lite rock music.

Background

In 1993, ACWS - United Broadcasting Network, Inc. established the Cebu radio station DYRK, more popularly called 96.3 WRocK Cebu, on the FM band. In 2008, 96.3 WRocK Cebu is jointly run by Exodus Broadcasting Company (a sister company of ACWS-United Broadcasting Network, Inc.).

On October 6, 2008, it has been announced that the Elizalde Group of Companies' Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) has purchased 96.3 WRocK from the Hodreal family, owners of ACWS-UBN, for PhP229.6 million. Except for the acquisition price, further terms were not disclosed.[1]

While the Manila radio station is under the control of MBC's subsidiary Cebu Broadcasting Company, ACWS-UBN retains control of the WRocK provincial stations.

DYRK was relaunched as a separate entity from WRocK Online.
