The Barking Frog (Craugastor augusti) is a species of frog in the Craugastoridae family. It is found in Mexico and the United States. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, subtropical or tropical dry forests, temperate shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and temperate desert. It is primarily known for its loud vocal eruptions that resemble a dog barking.
