500-series • County routes in Hudson County← CR 677 CR 679 → Secaucus Road travels between Secaucus and the district known as the Transfer Station in Union City, New Jersey atop the Hudson Palisades in Hudson County, New Jersey.
Its eastern end is at the intersection of CR 681, the Paterson Plank Road, in Union City, while its western end is Meadwolands Parkway in Harmon Cove. A 1.74 miles (2.80 km) eastern portion is designated CR 653, or County Route 678 County Avenue, Secaucus and U.S. Route 1/9 are major cross streets.[2] It is the border between Jersey City and North Bergen in the New Jersey Meadowlands.[3]
