Colquechaca Municipality is the first municipal section of the Chayanta Province in the Potosí Department in Bolivia. Its seat is Colquechaca.

Qullqichaka which is the proper spelling of the compound Quechua word means "silver bridge" (qullqi: silver, money; chaka: bridge).[1]
