Linnaeus, 1758Synonyms Clinus superciliosus, known commonly as the Super klipfish in South Africa,[2] is a species of clinid in the genus Clinus.[3] It is a subtropical blenny found from northern Namibia to the Kei River in South Africa, in the southeastern Atlantic Ocean.[3] It was named by Carolus Linnaeus in 1758,[4] and can reach a maximum length of 30 centimetres.[3] Blennies in this species have a varied diet, and feed off of amphipods, isopods, crabs, sea urchins, mollusks, worms, and finfish.[5]
