Clinus arborescens is a species of clinid in the genus Clinus.[2] It is a temperate blenny found around South Africa, in the southwestern Indian Ocean.[2] It was named by J.D.F. Gilchrist and W.W. Thompson in 1908, originally as a subspecies of Clinus superciliosus.[3]
