Fucomimus mus, known commonly as the Mousey klipfish in South Africa and the United Kingdom,[2] is a species of clinid, and the only species in the genus Fucomimus.[3] It is found around South Africa, in the southeast Atlantic ocean.[4] It was named by J.D.F. Gilchrist and W.W. Thompson in 1908,[5] and can reach a maximum length of 10 centimetres.[4] Blennies in this species feed primarily off of amphipods, isopods, mollusks, and benthic copepods.[6]
