China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company Limited or CTIH (SEHK: 966), formerly China Insurance International Holdings Company Limited or CIIH, is an insurance conglomerate incorporated and headquartered in Hong Kong. CTIH is publicly listed on The Main Board of The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 966). The principal activity of CTIH is investment holding and its major businesses are reinsurance, life insurance, property and casualty insurance, asset management, reinsurance brokerage and pension management. Its parent company is China Taiping Insurance Group Co. It was renamed from CIIH to the current name in 2009.[1]
