It opened on August 7, 2011,[1] and is operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA). The area around the station is low-density commercial that is isolated by the Utah State Route 201 freeway to the north and unbridged floodplains of the Jordan River to the south and east (though pedestrians and bicyclists can travel north or south on the Jordan River Parkway trail, which the station is named for).
