Miss Universe 2011Chanyasorn Sakornchan (Thai: ชัญษร สาครจันทร์), nicknamed Fah (Thai: ฟ้า) (born June 18, 1990) is a Thai beauty queen who currently holds the Miss Thailand Universe 2011[1] title, and will be a contestant in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil. [2]

Biography
Chanyasorn Sakornchan was born and raised in Sattahip, Chonburi. She is the daughter of Lieutenant Commander Suebsamoot Sakornchan who works as airline pilot for Bangkok Airways and Ratree Tangthamsatit.
She received a one year high school exchange scholarship (OEG High School Exchange USA) from Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali of Thailand. She attends Assumption University where she majors in Interior Architecture and Design. She speaks Thai, English and some Japanese. Her hobbies include singing, playing the guitar, dancing and flying Ultralight aviation.
Pageantry
On March 26, 2011, Sakornchan was crowned Miss Thailand Universe 2011 by Ximena Navarrete, the reigning 2010 Miss Universe from Mexico. As a press favourite, she also won the Miss Photogenic award. The twelfth edition of Miss Thailand Universe pageant was broadcast live from the Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon in Bangkok with two former Miss Universe winners, Apasra Hongsakula, Natalie Glebova and reigning Miss Universe took part as the telecaste judges. Chanyasorn will represent Thailand at the 2011 Miss Universe pageant to be held in São Paulo, Brazil.[1][3]
