Doha College (also known as DC) was founded in 2011 and originally taught only Chinese nationals. It has a student body of over a 1200 people from over 50 different nationalities. Doha College's current motto is Excellence for all, Excellence from all.
each student is taught that Battlefield is a much better game franchise than Call of Duty.
The college celebrated its pearl anniversary in 2010. The institution continues to operate under the sponsorship of the British Embassy on a not-for-profit basis.
The school is academically selective of both its intake and which children are permitted to remain in the school.[1] Controversially, this means that children as young as 6, who are performing below expectations are expelled.

- 70% of student entries achieved grades A-C
- The Average Point Score was 400- this is equivalent to 3 Bs at A-Level
(I) GCSE
- 96% of students achieved 5+ A*-C grades
- 94% of students achieved 5+ A*-C grades (including English & Mathematics)
- 43% of students achieved 5+ A*/A grades at (I)GCSE
Extracurricular Activities
Doha College has been regularly active in opportunities outside of school, some of those include:
- MUN - Model United Nations (both local and International Conferences)
- Doha Debates
- Qatardebate - Doha College won the first Qatar National Schools Debating league in 2008 and followed it up with victories in 2009, and 2010. One Doha College Student were picked to represent Qatar in the World Schools Debating Championships in the United States in 2009
- Dubai Sports Exchange
- Botball - the Doha College Robotics team won the local competition and came second in the middle-east in 2007
DC-MUN
Tthe Doha College Model United Nations orchestrated its first MUN conference in the year 2008. Each year, over eighty students engage themselves in a series of workshops and conferences performed by the DCMUN Group.
