- List of Power Rangers episodes
-
This is a list of Power Rangers episodes. Power Rangers is adapted from the thirty five year long line of Japanese special effects television series known as Super Sentai. Over 700 episodes have aired since it premiered in 1993, with the 701st episode being the premiere of the 19th season in 2011.
In 1993, Saban Entertainment adapted their first Super Sentai series, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger into the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Saban continued to produce Power Rangers through Power Rangers Time Force, adapted from Mirai Sentai Timeranger. In late 2001, Disney bought the franchise from Saban. Disney would retain Saban's former crew in 2002 to produce Power Rangers Wild Force, adapted from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger. In 2003, Disney brought in their own crew and adapted Power Rangers Ninja Storm from Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger. They continued to produce through Power Rangers RPM, adapted from Engine Sentai Go-onger. In 2010, Disney broadcasted a re-version of the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to mark the 18th year of Power Rangers. In the same year Haim Saban, now under Saban Brands, bought the Power Rangers franchise back from Disney. The latest season, which began running in February 2011, is Power Rangers Samurai adapted from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, which marks the 19th year of Power Rangers.
