Pfullendorf, GermanyMichael Snow (born in Pfullendorf, Germany)[1] is a Seattle-based lawyer and was chair of the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees from 2008 to 2010.[2] He now serves on the Advisory Board of the Foundation.

Education
Snow received his law degree from the University of Washington Law School.
Wikipedia
Snow has volunteered for Wikipedia since December 2003.[3] He is also a Wikipedia administrator and the founder of the English Wikipedia community newsletter, The Wikipedia Signpost.[4]
In 2006 Snow served as a spokesman for the Wikimedia Foundation,[5] was appointed to the board in February 2008 and elected chairman on July 17, 2008.[6]
At the Wikimania 2010 conference in Gdansk, Poland in July, Ting Chen replaced Snow as chair.
