Straight

Straight is a term which may commonly refer to:

* The quality or state of extending in one direction without turns, bends or curves; or being without influence or interruption
* The personal character of displaying honesty or fairness
* A poker hand containing five cards in sequential ranked order
* An expression for a heterosexual person (as an antonym to queer or gay); see also straight acting
* A type of punch used in boxing, also commonly known as a Cross
* "Straight", the second autobiography by British artist Boy George, co-written with author Paul Gorman
* "Straight", a movie by German director Nicolas Flessa
* "Straight", the first album by German singer Tobias Regner
* Straight Records, a record label
* Straight, Inc., a now-defunct U.S. drug rehabilitation program for adolescents
* "Straight", a way of requesting and/or serving a drink. Meaning just the spirit without any water, cordial (non-alcoholic or alcoholic), or other mixer (similar to "Straight-up")
* Straight Bourbon is any Bourbon whiskey that has been aged at least two years
* Straightedge, a drawing or cutting tool
* A factory made cigarette

In slang usage, the term also refers to:

* An expression for an exaggeratedly proper person, theory or lifestyle (as an antonym to countercultural or radical)
* A person's state of sobriety
* Abstinence from the use of, or being free from, the effects of drugs, and/or alcohol, especially recreational drugs
* "Going straight", referencing a person who decides to no longer engage in criminal activity
* A member of the straight edge subculture
* A crack pipe
