In 1930, by the support and sponsorship of the founder and president of the AGBU Egyptian-Armenian benefactor Boghos Nubar was decided to build a town with name Nubarashen (meaning “village of Nubar”). Architect Alexander Tamanian made the plan of Nubarashen. In 1932, Nubarashen was established.
